Mars Scuba presents our Bonne Terre Mine Diving Weekend! This will be a fantastic weekend exploring an international dive destination 45 minutes south of St. Louis, Missouri in the small town of Bonne Terre. The mine was a lead mine that was active from 1861 to 1961. When the mine was declared mined out and the operation was shut down, they turned off the pumps and walked out. The mine is now perfectly preserved as ore carts and tools are left where the miners dropped them! The mine boasts 100+ ft of visibility daily as there is always clean water flowing in the mine as it is an aquifer. This is a fantastic weekend of diving, cost includes 5 guided dives, tank rentals with Air (Nitrox is an add-on), and your accomodations at the Depot! PADI Mine Diver certifications are availiable on this trip, additional fees will apply for those who wish to get the unique specialty which counts towards your PADI Master Scuba Diver certification and Mars Scuba 5 Star program!
